The Madness decided to invite their friends for a coffee at his home. All were invited. After taking coffee, The Madness proposed:

- Let's play hide and seek!

- What is that? Curiosity asked.

- Hide and seek is a game in which I count up to one hundred and I will seek. The first to be found will be the next to tell.

All agreed, but not the Fear and Prejudice.

1, 2, 3 ... Madness began to count. The Hurry hid first, in any place. The Shyness, timid as ever, hid in the crown of the tree. The Joy rushed to the middle of the garden, and Sadness began to cry because he did not find an appropriate place to hide. Envy accompanied the Triumph and hid near him, under a stone. The Madness still counting and his friends were hiding. The Hopeless was desperate to see Madness already in: ... ninety-nine, one hundred ... yell Madness: - I am going to start searching. The first to appear was the Curiosity since no hold more, wanting to know who would be the next one to count. As he looks to one side, he saw The Doubt over the wall, still thinking which of the sides was better to hide. And so they were emerging, Joy, Sadness, Shyness... When they were all found, the Curiosity asked:

- Where is Love?

Nobody had seen him. The Madness began searching. He looked at the mountaintop, in the rivers, under the stones and anything. Love was no where to be found. Then The Madness saw a rose and took a step, he began to search in the stems, and suddenly heard a cry. It was Love, screaming for having pinched his eye with a thorn. The Madness did not know what to do. He apologized, implored for the forgiveness of Love and promised to serve him forever. Love accepted the apology. From that day on...
